Here are some things to know:
Who: AFC vs NFC All-Stars
When: Sunday, January 29th 2017
Time: 8 p.m . EST
TV: ESPN
The NFL along with players have been trying to come up with ways to change the and add
excitement to the Pro Bowl, So they decided to have San Diego Chargers (Now The Los Angeles
Chargers) quarterback Philip Rivers throw dodgeballs at opponents.
Moving the Pro Bowl to Florida this year instead of having it in Hawaii, they are having a traditional
AFC-NFC exhibition game, the NFL has decided to bring back the skills challenge, with some
activities that might be closely resembling what the NBA does with its skills competition.
Some of the competitions that will be seen are as follows, drone drop, power relays, and dodge ball.
As part of Pro Bowl Week at Disney’s Sports Complex.
Keeping it weird, 20 players representing the NFC and AFC go head-to-head in dodge ball.
There still are some regular challenges for the athletes such as the quarterback challenge and a hands
competition for receivers.

Neighborhood Watch

Sky Country has come together as a community to form a neighborhood watch in our community. We

had a meeting earlier this January and all came up with brilliant ideas for the neighborhood watch.

Here is some quick pointer on how to be a vigilant neighbor.

•BE OBSERVANT REPORT ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS

•Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Department (Non-Emergency Number) 951-776-1099
• Get to know your neighbors
•Keep all your doors and windows locked
•Great deterrents install and alarm, security cameras, sensor lights, dogs
•Keep your outdoor lights on at night
•Retrieve your mail on a daily basis
•Write down the license number of suspicious vehicles to give to the police if is necessary only if you can do it safely, take pictures. •Do not be afraid to contact the Sheriff Department to investigate suspicious circumstances, unusual people or strange noise. It

is better to be safe than sorry.
•Park your cars or trucks in reverse to deter the theft of your tailgate

Buying A Home Is More Affordable Than Renting In 66% Of U.S. Counties

According to #ATTOM Data Solutions’ 2017 Rental Affordability Report, #buying a #home is more affordable than renting in 354 of the 540 U.S. counties they analyzed.
The report found that “making monthly house payments on a median-priced home — including mortgage, property taxes and insurance — is more affordable than the fair market rent on a three-bedroom property in 354 of the 540 counties analyzed in the report (66 percent).”
For the report, #ATTOM Data Solutions compared recently released fair market rent data from the #Department of Housing and Urban Development with reported income amounts from the #Department of Labor and Statistics to determine the percentage of income that a family would have to spend on their monthly housing cost (rent or mortgage payments).
Rents have been surging faster than home prices in about 37% of the markets measured. Daren Blomquist, Senior Vice President of #ATTOM Data Solutions warns that rising interest rates could be the tipping point of affordability:
“While buying continues to be more affordable than renting in the majority of U.S. markets, that equation could change quickly if mortgage rates keep rising in 2017. In that scenario, renters who have not yet made the leap to homeownership will find it even more difficult to make that leap this year.”

Bottom Line

#Rents will continue to rise and #mortgage interest rates are still at historic lows. Before you sign or renew your next lease, meet with a #local professional who can help you determine if you are able to buy a home of your own and lock in your monthly housing expense.
